Talking Heads are readying a deluxe edition release of their legendary live performance movie, Cease Making Sense, due out on Rhino this August 18th. The movie has been restored to a 4K model that can make a run in theaters this summer time, and there may also be a full 2-LP launch of the soundtrack itself.
Good to see they’ve obtained some bonus stuff deliberate as properly:
Each variations will function each music carried out within the movie, together with two which have by no means been launched – “Cities” and “Huge Enterprise / I Zimbra.” The restricted version vinyl model contains a 28-page booklet with beforehand unpublished photographs together with new liner notes from all 4 band members — Tina Weymouth, David Byrne, Chris Frantz, and Jerry Harrison.
